The transition from hospital to home can take time. Longview Regional Medical Center’s Skilled Nursing Care Facility provides continued care for people going through this change. Here, our supportive nurses offer a variety of caring services and support that help people and their loved ones get to a place where they are ready and prepared for a successful return home.
We believe in a team approach to care. Nurses, physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists and social services all work together to focus on the needs of patients of all ages. Our skilled nursing team also invites family members and friends to play an active role in the patient's recovery while providing an enjoyable atmosphere to promote healing.
The skilled nursing unit at Longview Regional Medical Center consists of 15 semi-private Medicare-certified beds. Skilled services include monitoring treatment of an acute or exacerbated illness, IV therapy and wound healing, as well as physical, occupational and speech therapy.
