Longview Regional Speech Services, contracted through an outside provider, works to assist the physician, patient and family by providing appropriate speech pathology services.

Speech-language pathologists are specialists in human communication, its normal development, its disorders and the prevention of disorders. It is the speech-language pathologist's responsibility to identify, assess and provide treatment for individuals with speech, language, cognitive/communicative disorders and swallowing dysfunction.

The one-on-one speech therapy sessions are available through inpatient settings.
