Nurse Extern Program

LRMC offers two levels of Nurse Extern.

Extern 1 - must have completed one clinical semester - works PRN shifts to accomodate school schedule

Extern 2 - must have completed two clinical semesters - works PRN shift to accomodate school schedule

GNs are hired PRN until they pass their boards.  If you are offered a FT RN position, you can receive up to $5,000 in tuition reimbursement!
